Slice a small sliver of a raw potato.

Place potato on top of splinter. (Mine was on the bottom of my foot - ouch!)

You need to keep the potato slice on the splinter anywhere from a few minutes to overnight. To keep the potato slice in place, you can use a bandaid or a sock if the splinter is on your foot.

Wait a while. Check the splinter. If you've had it on there long enough, the splinter should rise to the surface of the skin and be easy to pick or scrape off.

Voila! The splinter is out! Mine was tiny, so it only took about 20 minutes of wait time. Make sure you clean the splintered area with soap and water!
